Women Who Want Sex Don't Walk Sexy

A seductive swing of the hips does attract men's attention, but it does not mean that a woman has high level of sex hormones, according to researchers.

A team from Queen's University, Ontario examined women's walks and the levels of sex hormones in their saliva.

During the research female volunteers were asked to walk just the way they want. After than video clips with walking women were shown to 40 men who were asked to rate the attractiveness of the way the women walked. Then the results were matched to the hormone test.

The results were so surprising that the team repeated the experiment again with another group of male volunteers.

It turned out that those who walked sexy (from men's point of view) were the furthest from ovulation and had the lowest level of sex hormones.

Women who were most fertile (and had the highest level of sex hormones) at the time of experiment walked with fewer hip movements and with the knees closer together.

Women tend to conceal their fertility from males other than the chosen partner and vice versa they "advertise attractiveness on a broad scale when they are not fertile", researchers say.
