Longer Relationship - Weaker Sex Drive

The longer a woman stays in a relationship, the less sex she needs, according to a research.

The research by experts from London involved more than 500 married men and women and dealt with sex life in marriage or long lasting relationships. The researchers were surprised by the results of their study. It turned out that sex drive of a woman does depend on the length of relationships she is staying in.

The longer a woman is staying with her partner, the less sex she needs - this is the conclusion to which the experts came after the results of the poll were summed up. These are the figures: 60 percent of women want regular sex with their partner in the beginning of the romance. After 4 years of staying with the same partner this figure diminishes up to 50 percent. Only 20 percent of women who have been staying in a stable relationship for 20 years need regular sex.

The most amazing thing is that men do not show such regularity.

Some decrease in sex drive does not mean the end of relationships. Psychologists from London came to the conclusion that sex does not play the most important role in happy family life. A poll that involved more than 100 married couples has shown that ideal partners should first of all have common values, tastes and preferences that deal with music, literature, attitude towards pets, religion and others. Sex occupies only the fifth place.
